Halloween 2009

The holiday season has begun. It is Cole's first Halloween. We began the celebration with our cousins at the Chattanooga Zoo "Boo at the Zoo." Cole was a lion and Abigail was a caterpillar. They entered the costume contest and Abigail won second place!

Our second Halloween event was our Sunday school class party at the Whites. Will, Cole and Jen went with a Wizard of Oz theme: Cole as the Lion, Will as the tin man, and Jen as Dorthy with Toto in her basket.

Cole, the Lion; Peyton, the Cow; and Wade, the Beast. What a trio!
Brad- Lumiere, Ashley- Babette, Lydia- Belle, and Wade- the Beast. Too CUTE!
Cole's first Halloween was spent with the Robertson cousins.
Our little lion substituted his passie for candy!
After a full evening..Riley was the only one is picture taking spirits. What a pretty princess! Jancey, the flower, seemed to find humor in her brother the bumble bee, Royce's discomfort.

Aunt Liz also came for the big night.

Fall and Family

I love fall and the changing leaves and cool weather with no humidity. Fall means football, fall break and then the holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) with lots of family time. We have enjoyed some time with our little family of three lately - from lazy days outside on a blanket to the mountains of Gatlinburg. Enjoy some of our clips from the fall.....

Beautiful

I just love the soft skin of a baby. Babies are an amazing gift from the Lord. But to tell the truth, I have never really been one of those "baby" people. You know...the kind that has to hold every baby that enters the room, one that goo-goo's and ga-ga's over tiny little ones, and just talks incessantly about the little things they do. Don't get me wrong, I have always liked babies. Who doesn't? But, I liked them from afar. Of course, I loved my nieces and nephews and adored over them. But outside of the family, I was fine to just look at others bundles of joy. Then I got prego and I wondered (more like worried) that I would not become a "baby person" and what would I do with this little one. Well, I guess God knows just what to do and how to fix those situations, because I cannot get enough of this baby. I want to hold him, cuddle with him, dress him up, play with him, read to him, feed him, sing to him... you get the picture. I am baby CRAZY! I love Cole so much. Everyone said this would happen but I could not imagine it. This is truly the best thing ever!

Water, Water .... What Fun!?!

Cole loves going to see his Nanny and Papa at Norris Lake. For Labor Day weekend, the Wilsons all came to see Cole. Cole was the entertainment for the weekend....driving the boat, playing with Millie, being held and fed by everyone, and of course lots of hugs and smiles.

Cole pats Millie...she tolerates it. She is not happy about not being the baby anymore. Hopefully, they will be buddies soon. Cole loves his cousins Joe, Megan and Emma.

Cole also loves bath time. He splashes and plays in the water. Hopefully, this is a sign that he will love swimming, the lake and the beach like his mom and dad.

Cole and Friends - Our 6 month adventures

It has been a busy few months! Cole has been GROWING as you will see in the following pictures. At 6 months he is sitting alone and finally started to roll (yes- in that order). He laughs all the time, is VERY ticklish, continues to love Baby Einstein videos, plays well independently and never meets a stranger (except Dr. Coffman- he is terrified of the doctor). Here are a some recent adventures with his friends.

Cole loves TN football

Cole with his cousin Abigail and her mommy Beth. Abigail is about 4 months older than Cole. They are going to be great friends like first cousins Beth and Will.

Cole and Pierson were born two days apart.
The Brenningers (Peter, Amanda, and Pierson) have moved to Oklahoma
so it was a great first meeting.

Caroline and Cole are big buddies. As you can see, Stephanie and Jen have their hands full. Caroline and Cole are about 7 months apart - Caroline is older....
watch out the Brewer boys like older women!!

Cole is texting his friends! He loves the cell phone. I let him play with mine last week and he drooled all over it. It was so saturated when I realized it that I had to take it
apart to let it dry out. It finally started working about 3 hours later.
So I found an old cell phone that Cole can have as HIS phone!

This was taken moments before the 6 month shots.
He loves the paper on the examination table and I think he could play with it for hours.
He had no idea what was about to happen..... OUCH!

This is my favorite "little boy" outfit :)
